Ebun Olusegun Sofunde is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN). He was awarded the rank at the age of 38 and remains one of the youngest ever practitioners to have been so honoured.

Sofunde graduated with LL.B (Hons), from the University of Lagos in 1971, he was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 1972.

He worked as a State Counsel with the Lagos State Ministry of Justice, and later with Nigeria Re-insurance Corporation (the leading insurers in Nigeria at the time) in 1978. He joined Chief Rotimi Williams' Chambers as Counsel in 1978 and served as Head of Chambers from 1982 to 1989 when he left to establish the firm of Sofunde Osakwe Ogundipe & Belgore (Legal Practitioners), this firm along with the 3 founding members.

Sofunde is a Senior and founding partner of the firm. He is also a Notary Public.
